Jane McKenna is a long-time community leader in Burlington and has lived here for over 35 years. In that time, she has been involved with many projects for organizations including Rotary Central, the Carpenter Hospice and The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
A self-educated entrepreneur, Jane has launched her own company, Rainmaker Consulting, a firm that builds on years of experience with in-house consulting services delivered to many of Burlington’s small businesses.
A tireless volunteer, Jane now focuses on bringing her trademark optimism and energy to her work as Burlington’s provincial representative, where she serves as her party’s Critic for Economic Development, Trade and Employment and also serves as Co-Chair of the Greater Toronto Area Policy Advisory Council. She has previously served as her party’s Critic for Children and Youth, Critic for Government Services, and Vice-Chair of Community Outreach.
Jane has introduced legislation designed to raise awareness of the warning symptoms of sudden cardiac arrest in children and youth. She has also authored a well-regarded discussion paper, Paths to Prosperity: A Fresh Start for Children and Youth.
As Burlington MPP, Jane dedicates herself to delivering the same level of professional and dedicated service to her constituents that she has shown in her community.
Jane and her husband Tim have raised five children in Burlington.
